Terror alert in Philippines after bus bomb kills 4

It's really heartbreaking to see this horrible incident in Buendia, Makati yesterday, January 25, 2011.  It happened 2pm and without people on the bus knowing that there is an explosive inside.  It's just the start of the New Year but a lot of things are happening not just in our country but in the whole world.  It's very frustrating to know that the people who did this act has no pity on other people.  Not thinking that other people might get hurt and die.  I would think that the people who did this do not care anymore.

Other people say this act was a diversion of the other issue with the police involved but we don't know for sure. Other say its a terrorist act. If this is true, then something should be done.  We don't have the right to judge other people especially those who are serving the government, but let's face it some of them are using their authority to do such acts and with a lot of resources and ways to do things are easy for them.  WAKE UP PEOPLE!  Is this what we want our country to be?  Do we want chaos, fights, tragedy like this to happen all the time?

With our government now, I don't want to criticize but they should do something about this really fast.  This happenings should not be taken for granted.  Do not sleep and be lazy of giving justice to these people and punish those who did this.  Act now so you won't be sorry later.  The government should make a very strict law about this and remove those government officials involved.  This tragedy can still happen and it won't be just in buses so we people should be aware and cautious on everything around us.  Suspicious people and act should be reported to the authority and keep our eyes wide open.

Now, buildings, malls, banks, train stations and other establishment should be really strict in their securities and should thoroughly check all the bags, plastics, gifts.  Not just the metal detectors but look inside the bags.  I noticed in MRT station in Taft, everytime the lady security guard check on the bags, they always talk to each other. They don't really check your bags, once you open your bag in front of them, they will just look at it and that's it.  If you're a good looking man or woman or you're wearing an office attire and you look like a professional, they don't give a damn on your bags anymore.   They will let you in and sometimes won't even bother to check your bag.

There are a lot of things to change in our country but let's start on changing within ourselves.  Time is changing and we don't know what the future holds for us.

For the families who died from this tragedy, my deepest sympathy and for those injured, I hope you will get through this and you will be given justice.

God Bless the Philippines!
